Chatham Ivy was the brainchild of sisters Kim and Katie Noble, who summered on the Cape as children. They launched their wicked preppy line of cool tees and totes in August 2014 as a tribute to the Yankee spirit of their late father, Dick Noble, Jr.
“Chatham Ivy is our way of sharing the spirit of New England through our father’s eyes,” says Katie. “He was a true New Englander, from his lobster neckties to his Nantucket Reds to his love of sailing, hunting dogs, tennis and golf. We wanted to capture that spirit in a unique hand-painted art form, instead of something computer-generated, predictable and generic.”
Their products feature four collections of whimsical watercolor images — The Wicked Collection, The Destination Collection, The Coastal Collection and The Purebred Pups Collection. The most popular design, Wicked Landcruiser, features a red Jeep with surfboards and a Black Lab in the front seat.
